Clean trips.

Kerschner has chosen the Mercedes-Benz eActros 300 for its disposal logistics services.

Quiet, locally emission-free, and perfect for everyday use: Kerschner Umweltservice und Logistik GmbH is the first company in Lower Austria to add a Mercedes-Benz eActros 300 to its fleet. The goal is clear - the switch to battery-powered vehicles.

The start of an e-everyday.

A trusted team breaks new ground: the eActros 300 is added to Kerschner Umweltservice und Logistik GmbH's fleet. A total of 55 commercial vehicles are already in use at the company, and now the e-truck is joining them too. On board: a body from the Austrian manufacturer Stummer. An extremely thorough test was carried out for two weeks to see how the vehicle performed in everyday operations. The results? All tours were successfully completed and the vehicle put on an impressive performance.

Now the eActros is in permanent operation. For Managing Director Reinhard Kerschner, this is more than a step, it is a sign. He believes in the future of battery-electric trucks. And he is determined to convert the entire fleet to this type of drive.

Technology that fits the job.

The eActros 300 has the endurance required for municipal waste collection vehicles. Three battery packs deliver 336 kilowatt hours. This means that the vehicle can complete tours that last an entire day without intermediate charging. The electric axle with two integrated motors takes power to the road, with the truck really showing its strength when accelerating.

We have decided to convert the entire fleet.

The body is also impressive. Stummer takes the energy straight from the high-voltage system. An additional generator is not required, which saves weight and increases efficiency.

More quiet, more safety.

The eActros offers further advantages in daily use. The quiet drive reduces noise - for both drivers and residents. At the same time, modern safety technology ensures improved protection in road traffic. Sideguard Assist can help to recognise dangers at an early stage. The fifth generation of Active Brake Assist helps to detect people even in dense city traffic. As a result, safety comes first in every application.

Infrastructure with foresight.

Kerschner invests in transformation. The new company headquarters in the district of Melk is equipped with photovoltaic modules and pre-equipped parking spaces for further e-trucks. Battery storage systems are also planned for increased use of internal electricity.

What's more, two more eActros 300 semitrailer tractors for shuttle transportation are already on order. And another vehicle with hook lift is soon to follow. Kerschner is heading in a very clear direction: towards driving electric vehicles from Daimler Truck.
