eEconic conquers Arab market.
Daimler Truck is a synonym for quality - and for pioneering work. With the delivery of the eEconic to the United Arab Emirates, the world market leader in trucks is adding another milestone to its company history. However, the cooperation with the desert state is having a far more profound effect: as a climate-friendly electric vehicle, the eEconic is advancing the sustainable transformation of the entire region.
Part of something big.
A beautiful image for the history books: A brand new eEconic stands in front of a futuristic building backed by a breathtaking sunset in the middle of the desert. Representative for the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa), BEEAH Group from the United Arab Emirates is taking delivery of the new waste collection vehicle. The eEconic is part of an extensive investment in the future of the entire Arab region.
BEEAH Group also owns the innovative building in the Sharjah desert. The company started in 2007 as a public-private company for environmental and waste management, but gradually expanded its focus. Ultimately, the company developed a comprehensive future strategy concerning renewable energy, green mobility, transport, education and technology. This is where Daimler Truck came into play.
This addition to the BEEAH fleet
fits in perfectly with our goal
to create zero-waste societies.

Decarbonisation in the Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
In other words: the permanent Daimler Commercial Vehicles MENA (DCV MENA) agency in Dubai, established in 2001, spans a network of more than 30 Mercedes-Benz and Fuso general agencies. With the delivery of the eEconic waste collection vehicle by official partner Emirates Motor, the long-standing relationship with the Arab world has reached a new level.
BEEAH is adding the eEconic, specially designed for urban waste management, to its fleet of more than 2,000 waste collection vehicles – underlining its commitment to reducing emissions in its growing fleet operations in the Emirates, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
“This addition to the BEEAH fleet fits in perfectly with our goal of creating zero-waste societies with an advanced, digitally supported fleet,” says the CEO of BEEAH Group, Khaled Al Huraimel. “The emission-free drive and advanced safety features of the eEconic enable us to further improve our sustainable waste management solutions.”
BEEAH itself is pursuing the goal of reducing the CO2 emissions of its entire fleet to zero by 2040. The new waste collection vehicle will be more than helpful in this regard.
