Unimog is well represented at the Abenteuer & Allrad 2017.
As a vehicle base for motor caravans, the Unimog is known for its exceptional all-terrain capability. This makes the all-rounder a firm "cast member" at the world's largest off-road fair in Bad Kissingen. And at the 2017 Abenteuer & Allrad fair, the Unimog again presented various different concepts that showed it to be the ideal partner for special expeditions and rugged outdoor operation.
At home everywhere off the beaten track.
"Everything we want" is the motto of the 19th edition of the popular off-road event. And that was not promising too much. Over 50,000 visitors, 250 exhibitors and uncountable exhibits filled the exhibition grounds. On the visitors' camping site alone there were around 1500 vehicles – among which there were many Unimog vehicles. For two days it was all about 4x4s, caravanning, expeditions and adventure travel. From quads to pickups to large trucks, every conceivable kind of all-wheel-drive vehicle was there.

The interested visitors were able to get a real close-up look at the Unimog specially equipped for outdoor operation. For instance, at the Hellgeth and Bimobil fair stands. Those who wished to experience first-hand the Unimog vehicle's off-road skills could do so on a 4x4 course aboard a U 5023 provided by Bliss Mobil.
Just why the Special Truck is the perfect camper for extreme off-road tours is supported by impressive figures: a fording depth of 1.20 m, clean, reliable engines with outputs ranging up to 300 hp, a ground clearance of 0.5 m and a diagonal axle articulation angle of 30 degrees. In addition to this, it features a powerful automated 8-speed transmission with off-road low-range ratio and optional tyre pressure control.
