The readers of the OFF ROAD magazine have voted and we say thank you! Because two of our Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks were voted into first place in the vote for the off-road vehicle of the year 2022. This proves: Unimog or Zetros not only achieve almost all goals, but also all hearts.
Real adventures begin where paved roads end. To get to places few people can reach, versatile vehicles are needed. The high-terrain Unimog knows hardly any limits: Differential locks, portal axles and a torsionally flexible frame ensure freedom off-road, as does the tyre pressure control system. The Zetros with permanent all-wheel drive and differential locks on all axles as well as a large slope angle allows access to almost any terrain.

Both vehicles are extremely capable off-road, defy the toughest conditions and can be built up into optimal travel companions – for example as an off-road camper, a robust and reliable expedition vehicle or for rallies.
For the 18th time in a row, the Unimog has beaten its competitors in the OFF ROAD vote for off-road vehicle of the year and secured victory in the special vehicles category. The Zetros scored points with the readership in the touring vehicle category.
