eEconic at the GSE aircraft logistics trade fair in Lisbon.

From 17 to 19 September 2024, Doll Fahrzeugbau GmbH will be presenting the Mercedes-Benz eEconic in airport applications at the GSE Expo Europe in Lisbon, Portugal. The trade fair is regarded as the leading forum for innovations in the field of ground support equipment (ground-based airport logistics, GSE). One of these top innovations: the eEconic Highloader for catering applications. 

 

The GSE Expo is the central meeting place for forward-looking decision-makers and experts from the airport logistics industry. The trade fair brings together 170 exhibitors and more than 3,500 trade visitors on a total of 10,000 m2 of open-air exhibition space. The eEconic will therefore be in its element. 

 

The Euro VI version of the natural gas-powered Mercedes-Benz Econic NGT as a catering vehicle at Vienna Airport.

At stand EX39, Doll will be presenting the eEconic as a so-called highloader. An all-electric lift truck with a characteristic scissor superstructure that is used in catering operations, among other things. The electrically powered lorry stands for modern, sustainable technology that is specially tailored to the requirements of airports.

Revolution in ground handling.

The eEconic sets new standards in modern ground handling. In combination with the electric drive and the deliberately low cab design, it offers particular comfort for users - especially in the case of very low transfer heights and very small aircraft.

However, catering is not the only area at the airport where the eEconic is used. The eEconic Refueler, the world's first refuelling vehicle based on an electric series truck from Daimler Truck, is in operation at Stuttgart Airport. With its environmentally friendly drive technology, it ensures efficient and locally emission-free operation.

In addition, the arrangement of the technology behind the cab facilitates the installation of a wide variety of systems. Whether for catering, refuelling or as a medical lift. The large panoramic windscreen and automatic transmission give the driver the best possible view and full control over the entire airport site.
