At AGRITECHNICA, Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks showcases how farmers harvest success.

Built for real-life applications, made for professionals: at AGRITECHNICA 2025, Daimler Truck is showcasing three Unimog implement carriers that do more. Whether on the field, on the road or in municipal applications – the Unimog never fails to impress with modern technology, high performance and its sophisticated UNI-TOUCH® operating concept. Visitors can see for themselves what makes the Unimog so special from 9 to 15 November in Hall 6, Stand D37.

Unimog: performance with flexibility.

The three Unimogs to be showcased by Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks at AGRITECHNICA not only impress with their reliable performance both on field and road: they also boast enormous flexibility and a particularly high level of comfort, making everyday work on the land so much easier. This includes, in particular, the possibilities offered by the UNI-TOUCH® operating system.

Three implement carriers, countless possibilities.

The Unimog U 219 is the compact and versatile implement carrier for year-round use. With a wheelbase of 2,800 millimetres and a maximum speed of 89 km/h, it is also fast and manoeuvrable for municipal tasks.

A wide range of implements can be used via the front mounting plate and the front power take-off. At this year’s AGRITECHNICA, the vehicle will be showcased with Dücker's UNA 600 mowing boom and AWS 22 branch and wall hedge trimmer as well as the Bucher Yeti W16 automatic spreader. With this combination, the Unimog U 219 can be used on winter mornings to clear ice and then help with tree maintenance.

The Unimog U 435 is aimed at customers who require high performance combined with compact dimensions and a low dead weight. The six-cylinder in-line engine with 260 kW (354 hp) offers high power reserves. This is particularly advantageous for fast transport with high payloads or high towing capacities. Power-intensive implements can also be supplied with engine power via the engine power take-off or the power take-off shaft with front PTO shaft. What's more, the Unimog has power hydraulics for implement operation.

The Unimog U 530 is designed for use in agriculture and offers a wide range of equipment features, making it a versatile working tool. Rear power lift with lift control and a mechanical rear PTO shaft for tapping the full engine power make it possible to use a wide range of attachments. A front PTO and a front mounting plate with front power lift for municipal and agricultural implements are also available. Additional components can be easily integrated and controlled via ISOBUS interfaces.

For greater driving and working comfort, the Unimog U 530 is equipped with hydropneumatic suspension on the rear axle. The conventional coil springs have been replaced with gas accumulators and hydraulic cylinders. The system keeps the frame at the same height regardless of the payload and its position, ensuring stable handling, even with high drawbar and rear axle loads or attachments with asymmetrical weight distribution. At the push of a button in the cab, the vehicle frame can be lowered by up to 16 cm, making changing implements and coupling and uncoupling easier and faster.

UNI-TOUCH®: A system that makes a difference.

At the heart of each vehicle on show is the UNI-TOUCH® operating system. This combines a 10.5-inch touchscreen with a sliding centre console, freely assignable function keys and an optional multifunction joystick with capacitive hand recognition. This gives the driver a better overview of everything and increases operating comfort. Workflows can be saved individually, implement changes can be carried out faster, and settings can be retained. This reduces errors and saves time. Included in the set: Start/stop button, central locking system and headland management for efficient processes.
