The eEconic shows the way at the IAA Transportation in Hanover.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks will be presenting two eEconic vehicles at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hanover. And for good reason: this time, the leading international trade fair for commercial vehicles and logistics is placing climate neutrality and e-mobility centre stage. A great opportunity for the locally emission-free truck, which can show why it is particularly suitable for waste collection in city centres. IAA Transportation: Stage for sustainable innovation.

The IAA Transportation is considered the most important platform for pioneering mobility and sustainable transport systems. Manufacturers of commercial vehicles, suppliers and tech companies meet in Hanover to present climate-neutral solutions. Whether electric mobility, autonomous driving or innovative logistics systems - the future of transport becomes tangible here.

Under the motto ‘People And Goods On The Move’, everything this year revolves around the mobility of tomorrow. The major players in the industry will be discussing how logistics and transport can be made climate-neutral. With the eEconic, Daimler Truck is bringing the illustrative material to Hanover.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks will be presenting two eEconic models in Hall 19/20, Stand B78: The eEconic 300 with the Medium X4 refuse collection body from Zoeller Kipper GmbH, including the Epsilon 2600 electric lifter, can be seen directly at the exhibition stand in the hall. Here, visitors can find out about the technical details and possible applications directly on site. 

The eEconic 300 with waste collection body from Geesink Norba GPM IV 22H25 will also be available as part of the Driving Experience. Interested trade fair visitors will not only have the opportunity to experience the vehicle live, but also to drive it themselves - provided they have the appropriate driving licence. This direct experience offers a unique insight into the performance of the eEconic.

The full range of future mobiles.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks is not only presenting the eEconic at the IAA Transportation, but also the full range of pioneering vehicles. For example, the all-electric eActros 600, which heralds a new era of long-distance transport at Mercedes-Benz Trucks and combines sustainability with economy, will also be on show.  

The Mercedes-Benz Trucks team will also be providing information about the TruckCharge charging concept and helping visitors to the trade fair to discover customised charging solutions for their business. With the Mercedes-Benz GenH2 Truck, Mercedes-Benz is demonstrating that sustainable transport can also be driven by hydrogen-based drive systems.

In the field of conventionally powered lorries, the brand with the three-pointed star is presenting the new generation of the diesel-based Actros L with the aerodynamic ProCabin cab concept. This can reduce fuel consumption by up to three per cent compared to the Actros predecessor.

Visitors to the IAA will also be able to familiarise themselves with the comprehensive range of services offered by Mercedes-Benz Trucks and get to know the new generations of safety assistance systems - including Front Guard Assist, for example.
