Grip off-road.
The truck's impressive off-road capabilities have been further enhanced with the new power rating. With 252 hp and 1,000 Nm of torque, the Unimog U 5025, in conjunction with its off-road-optimised transmission design, offers the best conditions for getting emergency services safely to their destination, even in the most difficult terrain. Power is distributed evenly to each wheel via all-wheel drive, portal axles and lockable differentials. The system is supported by TireControl plus: the tyre pressure control system adjusts the contact patch to the ground, thereby improving traction.
The cab combines a clear overview with ease of operation: clear instruments and well thought-out ergonomics enable full control. This ensures a safe and precise start.
Progress that moves you forward.
What makes it special is that it goes beyond the previous performance class. More power not only means faster progress, but also more scope when it matters thanks to the additional horsepower. At the same time, the Unimog U 5025 remains down-to-earth: the targeted further developments are based on proven Unimog technology. This means it is as maintenance-friendly and durable as ever.
A specialised network ensures high parts availability for the vehicle, providing excellent service coverage. After all, those who face difficult tasks on a daily basis need solutions with substance. Solutions that are just as reliable as the Unimog U 5025 itself.
Tailor-made for emergencies.
Fire brigades use the highly off-road capable Unimog as a tanker fire engine, medical services as an ambulance, and authorities in disaster control. The all-rounder on wheels always adapts. With body components such as a winch, roof hatch or light mast, it can be equipped for a wide range of purposes. The torsion-resistant frame carries heavy loads even on poor road surfaces, while interfaces for radio, power and special technology enable rapid deployment.
In practice, this means: driving on narrow forest paths, fording flooded roads and supplying remote locations. Without detours. This makes the Unimog the ideal tool for emergency services.
