Winter kit.

This option includes a water heater and heated windscreen – another safety advantage in freezing temperatures. The air-sprung suspension seat with seat heating keeps the driver warm and comfortable. The control unit mount as well as various sockets in and on the vehicle ensure safe operation and power supply for winter service equipment, while the heavyduty alternator ensures a reliable supply of power to the battery, even with increased power requirements from auxiliary consumers. If the vehicle is to be parked up for an extended period of time, the battery switch protects the battery from draining.

The winter kit leaves no-one in the cold:

  • Windscreen, non-tinted, heated
  • Auxiliary hot water heater, cab and engine
  • Suspension seat, air-sprung with seat heating for driver
  • Universal control unit mount
  • Universal electric interface to EN 16330
  • Front plug-in socket, 24 V, 7-pin
  • Permanent power sockets 12 V (C3), 12 V and 24 V in centre console
  • On-board socket, 24 V/25 A, in cab with C3 signal
  • Battery switch on battery box
