Mercedes-Benz Trucks in widespread use at Lobbe.

Whether environmental service, sewage services or emergency management, at Lobbe, vehicles need to be flexible, robust and reliable. That’s why the company relies exclusively on Mercedes-Benz Trucks throughout the entire group.

Lobbe helps to ensure order and cleanliness wherever waste and residues are generated. The company combines services for industry, waste recovery, recyclable material processing, renovation, sewer services and emergency management. This means a wide range of areas in which vehicles have to work flexibly, robustly and reliably every single day.

The group has a fleet of more than 850 Mercedes-Benz trucks and around 2,750 employees at more than 60 locations - and different models of Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

Real powerhouse.

You can go skiing on the roof of this waste-to-energy plant: Amager Bakke is considered one of the most modern waste-to-energy facilities in Europe. It is operated by the Amager Resource Centre (ARC), which converts waste from the Copenhagen metropolitan area into district heating and electricity and operates several recycling stations. With its ski slope, hiking trails, and 85-meter-high climbing wall, the power plant also symbolizes the unique connection between energy supply, urban development, and environmental awareness.

Crunch time: removing oil spills.

In the past year, Lobbe handled around 1,400 deployments, 850 of which involved removing oil spills. One thing is clear: this form of deployment is not just a side business. It is an integral part of everyday life.

Every step counts, especially when there is oil on the carriageway. At Lobbe, deployment planning is carried out digitally and site management assigns deployments via iPad. After that, everything must proceed at pace. After all, out on the road, it’s about more than just cleanliness. It is primarily about safety and a carriageway that can be brought back into use again quickly. For these tasks, Lobbe relies on the Mercedes-Benz Arocs as a sweeper with oil track cleaning, amongst other things.
